Wayne`s in Saint Croix Falls

Classic roadside diner. Our server handled our group of 12 with great care. She was a little frazzled but we told her that she did a great job. The breakfast food hit the spot! Please patronize this location.

Our waitress on Sunday morning/afternoons has always been absolutely incredible. She’s SO good at what she does. The food here is amazing, with the “grandmas kitchen” feel I recommend this place to everyone. Small town diner that is a staple in our community. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Great little cafe. Ordered the loaded hash browns with a side of hollandaise. Everything was awesome! Price was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back.

Major fail. Went in with my family, we waited for 15 minutes at a table for the waitress, who walked by us, stared at us from the counter but never came over to greet us or get our order. another lady who I am assuming was the cook came out multiple times made eye contact and did nothing either. It's not like its a big place, nor was it busy. Apparently they don't need our business

Visiting the area and I had the Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. Being a southern girl I was leary... however, I kissed the Wisc. Sky for their biscuits and Gravy! Excellent!

Best truck stop food in Wisconsin. Quaint diner setup and super friendly staff. Great place to take kids.

Very nice service. The breakfast I ordered pancakes and bacon bacon was way over cooked pancakes were really really really chewy as in like elasticity. Just didn't like the pancakes not very good syrup either

If you're looking for a place that will give you a good sized breakfast, look no further. They have hollandaise sauce for eggs Benedict, which isn't popular everywhere.Bring cash, as they don't have a card reader, but will be getting one soon.All around, it was worth the wait for them to open this morning. Thank you!!!

Great food!

Stopped and had a late breakfast with my brother. I ordered my all time favorite breakfast which is biscuits and gravy. It was very good. My brother ordered the ultimate hashbrowns, which he has had before and likes. The only downfall is that their water kinda smelled like fish.

I love Wayne's Cafe. It provokes the old cafe style. Their chocolate malts are to die for and their food is delicious. Whenever we are in St Croix Falls we stop in to the cafe to have lunch or dinner.

Since the new owner took over several years ago, this restaurant has seem very revitalized. The old owner did a remarkable job of running the restaurant into the ground. The food now tastes great and I like the simplified menu. The servers are friendly and seem happy to be working. I really like that they offer gluten free buns, as not a lot of restaurants in the area do. When I'm looking for a great home cooked meal, this is one of my family's go to spots.

My parents, Wayne and Ramona Greenlee, built this place that opened in 1959. . In the day it was THE place to go. My mother sold it in 2005. I'm sorry to hear that manager/lesee before current one did not adhere to the high standards my mother set. Very happy to see positive comments about current operations. I agree with those reviews... whenever I visit there and reliving the many, many hours spent there growing up.

Great food at low prices and huge portions. Amazing service. The server was awesome she was the only person working and still provided us with great service. I would definitely recommend going if you have the chance.

The waitstaff was great but the place was freezing! We asked if they could turn down the air a bit, they said it was too warm in the kitchen so no. Took FOREVER to get our food. Saw a cook grab a handful of bacon without gloves then wipe his hands on his pants and kept on working. Gross!

Great food and lovely place to eat and relax.

They usta be open until 10:00pm. Now they close at 3:00pm. Most people that work, work until 5:00pm. So, why would they close that early?

Reserved 2 tables next to each other, limit per table is 6 with Covid19 health restrictions. Were seated right away. The food was excellent. What stood out the most was the customer service from Abigail our waitress. Attentive and accommodating to extreme. She made the visit outstanding. Remember, if you get great service Tip accordingly, it's a tough job in these times.

Good food at a reasonable price. Very friendly waitress. Has semi parking and that's a plus.When you go in it sets you back in the 50's and 60's. They also have old fashion shakes, malts and root beer floats.

The food was awesome! There was only one waitress working and she was absolutely amazing..She didn't even skip a beat..Wonderful experience..Definitely going back!

Great Breakfasts!

Food was great along with our waitress. It wasnt until the end of our meal I realized I wasnt given the cole slaw I ordered. This is where the 1 star comes in. I let the staff know only because I had already paid for it. The old woman behind the counter was completely rude, disrespectful & miserable about refunding me. Stating "I am not refunding a card 50 cents". Had she had any manners and told me it was only 50 cents I would have said keep the change. You might not be doing a return for 50 cents but I'm also not paying for something I didn't receive!! In the end she handed us $1.50. Quite a difference than .50. Get some manners if you are going to be working with the public😡

Comfort food with a friendly staff. Have stopped here everytime on or way to cabin for the last 35 years, and will probably continue for years to come.
